"Invaluable Advice"

Years after Cedar Homes of Washington received my last payment, they continue to provide me with invaluable design and finishing advice. They have always been eager to help and really took an interest in me and my project. They have done a fantastic job and continue to give excellent customer service and support.

These homeowners are project managing an 850 sf addition to their existing home.  The addition is built with our laminated cedar timber wall system.

The added space will include a new kitchen and rec room.

The timber walls were up in about one day.

The homeowners sided over the dormer on their existing home -- to match the timber walls on the addition.

Plans call for new roofing for both the existing home and addition.

The total time elapsed from the installation of the floor system to the roof system was about 10 days.

After a damp spring, the weather has improved and construction is well underway on this 3 bedroom prow-front Cutter design.

The homeowner has chosen our 5 x 8 laminated cedar timber wall system.

The slope is the perfect setting for a two-car garage and utility room underneath the main living area.  The main floor includes two bedrooms, laundry, bath and an open kitchen / great room concept.  The loft level includes a spacious master bedroom suite with a full bath and walk-in closet.

Construction is well underway on a Lifestyles 4,504 sf with a full basement.  This home is perched on a hillside with a forest and territorial view.

The homeowners chose our Post & Beam wall system (stud framing with cedar D-log siding at the exterior walls).  Plans call for a full covered porch with log post accents.

The main floor includes a spacious kitchen / dining / great room along with a master suite with a walk-in closet and a separate tub and shower - and two additional bedrooms.  A laundry room and second bath are also on the main level. There is an attached two-garage at the rear of the home. The basement layout includes a bedroom, full bath, library, shop, fitness room, mechanical room and a large storage area.

The homeowners have built extensive rock retaining walls -- all from rocks found on their jobsite.

Shell construction of this Cutter 1750 was completed before the snow fell.  The homeowner (who is project managing the construction of the home) will resume the finish work when weather permits.

Kittitas County fire codes required the home be designed with metal roofing, cement board siding and fire resistant decking.  We are able to meet this requirement using our post & beam (stud framed) wall system.

The 1,100 sf main floor includes an open great room, kitchen, bath and two bedrooms. The 650 sf loft level includes a master bedroom suite with a walk-in-closet and a library.  The basement level (1,100 sf) includes a one-car garage, family room, laundry room and bathroom.
