I am writing this letter to let you know how wonderful it has been to work with Judy and Mike Flanagan on my cedar home. Mike and Judy were so nice and very generous with their time. After a complete tour (of their home) they explained the kiln drying process and unique way in which their homes are constructed. They lent me blueprints to study. They also gave me the names and numbers of other people to visit. I went to at least 8 of their customer's homes during the next few months. Mike and Judy's design experience was invaluable. They were very patient as I made revisions and I appreciated their many creative yet practical suggestions. They came out to my site on many occasions and helped me wrestle with the building and health departments. I couldn't have gotten my permits without them! Mike and Judy always go the extra mile!

In the summer of 1989 my wife Marilyn and I acquired beach property on Hartstene Island in Mason County. We decided to build a cedar type home and talked with several different manufacturers. After making many comparisons, we decided on Cedar Homes of Washington and have not been sorry about our decision. During construction, Mike and Judy were available to answer questions and they handled even the smallest problems in a timely fashion. There were no surprises from start to finish. Our home went together as expected and the quality of the materials was excellent. -- Harold Nickel |
