Lake Wenatchee Horizon View

The house on a hill… This Custom Horizon View was built near Lake Wenatchee, Washington. As you can tell this lot was on a very steep hillside, for that reason we decided that a daylighted basement was the perfect thing for this location. The basement of this structure was stick framed, with traditional 2X6 material, CDX Plywood, then finished with cedar siding to match the upper floor. The Upper floor exterior walls were framed with our 5-Lam Phoenix Energy wall. The large beams over the front-center wall are to accommodate for the heavy snow load on this specific site. Windows and doors were purchased separately on this home package.

Country Manor near Davenport, WA

This Post and Beam Country Manor #1475 went up like a dream. This two story Country Manor is the perfect family house, featuring 2 bedrooms in the lower floor, and a Master bed/ Bath in the upper floor. A large kitchen area, large open living room, and high vaulted ceilings really open up the living space. A standard 2 foot stem wall foundation, followed by the Post and Beam system made for a very clean, quick build. A couple upgrades the client made to this package was the entry door, and floating Glu-Lam riser strair set. The homeowner is finishing all of the finish work and siding. Some components that were included with the package, but not pictured are the 1×8 T&G Cedar siding, 1×6 T&G SPF soffit, Cedar window & door casings/trim, and all of the exterior Cedar trim/corner boards. A deck will eventually be added onto the front of this house.

All-Season Vacation Cabin

These homeowners are building a 1,405 sf Cutter near the Wenatchee River – outside of Leavenworth. Leavenworth, WA is a popular location to enjoy year-round activities. The post & beam cabin includes two bedrooms and a storage/sleeping loft, open kitchen with island / dining / great room, two baths, laundry room and a two-car garage with in-floor radiant heat. In addition to the wall of windows at the prow, the great room also includes a glue-lam, open riser stair system to the second level. A large 580 sf deck off the great room offers territorial views to watch the rafters up and down the river.

The homeowners modified our Cutter 1280 design.

Creekside Retirement Home

View property overlooking a rambling creek is the perfect setting to enjoy the retirement lifestyle. The homeowners meticulously planned and project managed a 696 sf Horizon View in eastern Washington. This home is built with our post & beam (stud framed) wall system. When completed, it will be sheathed with 1 x 8 cedar siding. 9’ triple store doors with triple picture windows over the top bring an abundance of natural light into the home and focus attention outside. This one-bedroom floor plan includes a walk-in closet, full-size kitchen, great room and laundry room. The 216 sf deck offers an overlook of the entire property.

The homeowners started with our Horizon View 600 design and enlarged it to fit their needs.

Country Setting Near Mt. Rainier

Construction is well underway for this Post and Beam 2,079 sf custom Citylights home. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the great room face a pastoral setting and mountain views. The 1,608 sf main level includes a master bedroom wing with walk-in-closet, open kitchen / dining / great room, extra large pantry and a laundry room with a dog wash area.

The second level (which overlooks the great room) includes a second bath and bedroom and a study. This homeowner built a large garage / shop prior to starting construction of the home. That structure makes a great storage area for windows, doors and miscellaneous hardware – while the home is being built. The homeowners will be using the shop to stain their 1 x 8 cedar siding boards.
